Where Did We Stay:-
Long Beach Hotel & Spa - Wonderful hotel situated on the longest beach in Mauritius. Exceptional service, with delicious food and plenty of activities to keep you entertained. Ensure to go All Inclusive, you will not be disappointed.

What Did We Do: -
We could have easily stayed in our hotel for the full 8 nights, as Long Beach provided us plenty of relaxation with just a short walk from our room to the private beach. Albeit too much relation is not my thing, so I took full advantage of the hotel facilities, which included, but were not limited to: Snorkelling, Archery, Golf, Taekwondo, Swimming, Tennis, Volleyball, Cycling, Wall Climbing, Wind Surfing, Kayaking, Football, Water Polo & Plenty more.

Outside of the hotel, there were further adventures to be had in:

Casela National Park
– Spending the day here, was by far the experience of a lifetime, if you are fan of wildlife. Zipping around the park on Segway’s as you get up close and personal with a variety of animals, was splendid. However, the real draw of the Park is the “Walking with Lions” experience. An absolute must, but not for the feint hearted, as this experience, gives you the opportunity to walk through the jungle with Lions! Need I say more….

Seakart Adventure
For the adrenaline junkies, this is your adventure! With Jet Ski’s being banned in many countries because of how dangerous they are, F.A.M ingeniously built the Seakart, which takes all the torque of a Jet Ski and balances it with the safety of a speedboat. So why not take the opportunity to speed around the beautiful Indian Ocean, we sure did and it was so much fun!!!! The pictures show you everything you need to know. (Thank you Winnie)

Where Did We Eat: -
Long Beach provided us all of our food requirements and we certainly came back overweight. Long Beach has a variety of A La Carte Restaurants for different cuisines, so ensure to book in advance and if you can have dinner on the beach.

What Did We Miss: -
Mauritius does have more to offer, such as the Black River Gorges National Park and the Seven Coloured Earth in Chamarel, so we will be back.
